“10/10 experience! Not only was the resort beautiful the staff were attentive and friendly. Any need I had they went above and beyond to fulfill. The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future! ”

“Villa Massis is a jungle paradise! It is situated amongst giant trees and large flowering tropical plants, right next to the quiet Mopan River. The pool was beautiful to swim in and lounge around. The staff are incredibly friendly: from the owner Larry to all the support staff, they really want guests to have a good time! They are proud of what this part of Belize has to offer. Larry coordinated transport to and from the airport, and set us up with drivers and guides for tubing down the river,……

“The pool was enjoyable, the AC allowed us to sleep at night, we enjoyed the on-site restaurant. We also utilized the resort pay for fee shuttle service from the airport and to the water taxi. All very punctual and professional. ”

(45 minutes de San Ignacio) Les options de marches en nature sont nombreuses et très bien balisées avec en prime des baignades dans des sites enchanteurs. La nourriture est typique et excellentes. Toutefois, certains prix sont un peu élevés. Le personnel est avenant et attentionné aux moindres détails. Un séjour que nous recommandons à proximités de plusieurs attraits (Caracol et Big Rock Falls notamment). ”

“We loved our stay at Mystic River. The staff was friendly and very helpful and they helped to make our excursions memorable. The room was large and very clean and the drivers were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Make sure to go zip lining, caving and check out the Mayan ruins…unforgettable!”

“Clean room, nice pool, and close to some good restaurants and the San Ignacio marketplace. Easy to hop across the street and get a few snacks or groceries from the grocery store. Staff was flexible and you can pre-order your breakfast the night before on site if you are planning an early tour. Only downside was staying the second food room facing front (hotel guests and nighttime swimmers were a bit loud for someone like me who needed to get to bed early). ”

“The property situated in a serene area. Rooms are clean. Our room was facing the river. Amities are all close by. Food was amazing. It was trolling to watch birds coming to the feeder when we ate breakfast next to it.River tubing was fun. The staff was so kind enough to do the camp fire at night just for our group. We had the best guide for our horse back riding. He was very knowledgeable and had the most patience to deal with inexperienced people like us. We had the best time at here!……

“Property is beautiful. We had a room on the beach with a plunge pool. Plunge pool is warm. We were on the bottom floor so our pool was out back with a covered deck on the front that overlooks the ocean. There are two levels above with plunge pools on the front of the property. Air conditioning is great and there’s a good breeze that comes off the ocean. Staff are wonderful. ”

“I highly recommend this hotel. Is very classy and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they have homemade legendary ice cream called rainforest that is worth going there for. They have jackfruit juice and a variety of local dishes that were comparatively priced to local restaurants. The rooms are top notch. We took the iguana tour at the hotel, which was very educational and enlightening. ”

“When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”
