Petit Retreat: The sweetest place on the Lake!

"Beautiful place right on the lake in a quiet neighborhood. Newly renovated and easy access to the water. Nothing like rolling out of bed right onto a screen in porch that opens up onto the dock. I was in paddle boarding heaven. Only snafu was the property was missing a wine key that they normally stock (which in the FLX is a major oversight!). They finally dropped one off the next evening after calling a second time. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we very much enjoyed our stay!"

"We were are group of 4 couples coming from WI, NC, VA and FL for a family reunion. This home was perfect! The bedrooms were spacious and while there were only two bathrooms, they were very large and had plenty of storage for everyone's toiletries. Lots of space in kitchen and butler's pantry to store food and prepare meals. It was great to have an oversized dining room table to seat everyone with room to spare. The front porch was definitely the favorite gathering spot. Too many wineries to chose from on the trail, but we had a great tasting (and too much fun) at the Thirsty Owl and don't forget to stop by Muranda's for a cheese tasting."

"Charming cottage with great views. Pieces about the cottage were so thoughtfullycurated. Daily provisions ( not food!) Are generously provided.The next door neighbors were so kind and welcoming. Owner positively reacted to our needs and questions. Spiral staircase would be a challenge for folks with mobility issues, but we loved the character of it. ( there is a " traditional" staircase outside) Will definitely stay there again"

"We had a great stay. The property was exactly what you see in the photos. It was very close to the lake front and short 4-5 min. drive to the nearest public boat launch. We had a great time fishing in Cayuga Lake from our kayaks. The driveway had plenty of room to accommodate our SUV and kayak trailer.The property is a short drive to downtown Seneca Falls and is a great place from which to explore the Finger Lakes region.The owner/property management was very responsive.We would definitely stay again."

"My group of 7 women really enjoyed our time here. The place was very nicely decorated, with comfortable beds, and great location on the lake. The only negative thing I would say, is there were only 2 extra trash bags and 2 dishwasher tabs. For a property that can sleep up to 8 people for 3 nights, I would think they would provide more. I also would tell guests there are no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash and only 1 small bar of soap in each bathroom for the sink. However, everything else was well stocked and just like the pictures."

"What an amazing stay! This home is exactly as advertised and so much more. Everything is so well thought out to maximize comfort and enjoyment. We felt like we were vacationing in a treehouse but with the most amazing panoramic views of the lake! Everything we needed was easily found and the home itself felt high end and so wonderfully cared for. We can’t wait to come back!"
