“The pool pictures on the website are completely misleading. The pool had very poor maintenance, and the jacuzzi was in the same condition. There were peeling walls, rusty air vents, and the whole area felt dirty and poorly maintained. In addition, the room heating system kept turning on automatically, which was very uncomfortable during our stay. We honestly expected much more from this hotel.”

“The corridor was very noisy. We could hear a party in another room on the same floor and we could hear everyone at the pool which was four floors below (even with the window closed). The night front desk staff said they could not check me out as they would have to run a night audit and to check out in the morning, while the morning guy did it in a minute. The water machine on the 5th and 6th floors was out of order but actually the 6th floor machine was non-existent (there was nothing there) and……

“We found The Tommie to be a great experience as it is part of the same building as The Thompson hotel so you get the same amenities and service. Some people have said The Tommie has smaller rooms but we did not find that to be an issue as they were very nicely styled and adequate in size for us as a couple. The location is right in the heart of all the action so you don’t really need a car. Would definitely stay again.”
