“Friendly Staff, Delicious Breakfasts”

“Brian and Jeff are exceptional hosts who take time to interact with their guests. This is a B&B that we will return to and highly recommend. The porch and garden areas are wonderful to sit, relax and have conversations. Our breakfast was very good with good conversation around the dinning room table. Our room was spotless and had a very comfortable king bed. A MUST visit!!!!”

“So so glad we stayed at this wonderful B&B. We were welcomed immediately on our arrival by a very kind older gentleman who owns the historic home. It’s well decorated from the period it was built. My daughter and I stayed in Honeymoon Haven bc we liked that there was a jacuzzi in the room to help with sore muscles after her gymnastics meet. It was the perfect sized room, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! The owners were kind enough to let us to check in early before our long……

“The property is a historic home over a hundred years old, the room was pleasant, very clean, with a comfortable bed and linens. Breakfast was good, but only creamer, no milk for coffee. If you are in the area you will not be disappointed at this charming B&B, but book early only four rooms are available.”

“I had wonderful stay when I went for a Penn State football weekend. It was so homey and Connie and Steve were such great hosts I felt like I was staying with family. The coffee tray outside the room in the morning was a great touch, and the Crème Brûlée French toast (and perfectly crispy bacon) for breakfast was out of this world! I appreciated being an easy drive from the University while away from the hustle and bustle and much more reasonably priced than anything in State College. Thanks also……

“It was a delight to stay in the Shoe which I saw for so many years on the way to visit my extended family in Reading, PA from Baltimore. Enjoyed the design of the shoe house and there was something quaint about the rooms that made them comforting. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive.
