"Everything was great and would suggest for others "

"The location cant be beat- so central. Wifi was pretty good. Lots of hot water, nice that there was an actual fridge & freezer. Lots of parking available ( reasonably priced to pay for parking too) My parents had a room on the lower level too & couldn’t hear the highway as much as my Husband & I could. The guy above us was pacing/clomping around in cowboy boots at 6:45am - noise travels from the upper floors- (we saw & heard) him go get ice. The pool & hot tub were nice to use after a busy day of adventures. "

"It was 15 mins from the airport. Very convenient to go to Pacific Beach, and La Jolla part of town. The rooms were nice comfortable mattresses and clean. I wish this hotel served coffee in the morning, considering it is a boutique hotel or hot cookies in the evening. I would stay here again."

"Staff was friendly and our room was comfortable but what made the experience terrible was upon trying to use one of the elevators on our floor, the door almost shut on my partner as they were going in to the elevator. We stepped back and again the elevator door almost closed while I was about to go in. We let someone at the front desk know about it but my companion now has a big bruise on her forearm from where the elevator door hit her. That incident unfortunately will not be having us come back in the foreseeable future."

"Even though our room was clean, our bed still had black ants crawling atop of it. Disappointing."

"Our room carpet looked worn and there was rust on the bathroom door jamb. The air conditioning was barely cool. The bed was comfortable. We slept well as the room was quiet. We chose this hotel because we trusted the brand but this hotel didn’t feel like we expected for DoubleTree."

"The towels, pillow cases and beddings are too old and dirty"
