“This was our second trip to this property for a family reunion. No complaints at all. I wonder if there are any plans to put up handrails in the bathroom and the three stairs in the hall.”

“Magnolia house was the perfect place for my daughter to stay while she was taking summer classes at James Madison University. The house was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything she needed. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils for cooking. There were extra blankets in all rooms. The area was one of our favorite parts. It was so quiet and felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind while she was staying there by herself. She could walk to the community……

“Very beautiful renovated home. Beautiful kitchen and bedrooms. You can feel and appreciate the historic atmosphere of the home. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.”

“We just needed a place to stay for one night. The home is on Main Street in Franklin and close to restaurants and a great coffee shop - ELEVATED Coffee Shop.I would recommend staying at this home.”

“Its the giant house on the side of the road, parking is by the tree on the hill. Arriving at night was hard to tell, with many small houses around the big house, and drive ways small. Dont let this fool you, this is to help you find it, as the place is amazing to stay. There are many rooms to stay in this house. This one is on 2nd floor, around tight nit stairs on top left. Room photos do not do it justice, its a bedroom / hallwall with bathroom, and den (spare room) very cozy, den is nice and……

“Beautiful cabin in a remote yet convenient location. The view from the back porch/deck was amazing. A very relaxing place to come after a busy day of hiking and sightseeing.”

“Very nice apartment in a historical building. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Everything was lovely. Owner promptly answered questions. I didn't realize how much traffic came through this town. Fortunately, the bedroom door blocked the street noise. It was a very nice respite from a long drive.”

“This place is just what we needed. It just feels welcoming when you walk in. It’s well supplied and everything is labeled so it’s easy to find stuff. We definitely recommend.”

“The house is on a beautiful piece of land! Very quiet and peaceful. The space is clean and spacious and as described!! Everything we needed! Will return!”

“Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said……

“This place was excellent. Probably my favorite Vrbo yet. I could sit next to that creek all day. And the host was very helpful and accommodating. ”

“Such a beautiful place to spend vacation!”
