“Nice place to stay”

“It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. That being said it was only when you were getting in or out of the shower and getting ready for……

“There was no breakfast, sauna was not working. Staff said that they were converting to a retirement village and it was advertised on his website that there was no breakfast, etc but on vrbo site I saw these things. No fire also. Basically cheaper places elsewhere. Wouldn't bother going back and no pleased with false advertisement.”

“Lobby was clean and welcoming. Desk clerk was very friendly and gave great service. Room was clean, no bad smells, nice linens and towels. Great selection at breakfast including apples, bananas, pears and oranges! Breakfast staff person was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.”
