「A perfect Vermont getaway. Historic charm meets modern comfort, with breathtaking mountain views to boot. A truly wonderful stay. This home accommodated 8 people 2 medium-sized dogs. Spacious yet cozy with plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The kitchen was well-equipped for group meals. The living areas were cozy and inviting and the bedrooms were comfortable. The location was ideal... peaceful and scenic yet close enough to hiking trails, quaint towns and local...

「Cute little getaway perfect for hanging out in the woods and driving two minutes down the road to the swimming hole. Had everything we needed!」

「A beautiful spot and a charming home」

「While we did not anticipate there being a monstrous heat wave (in Vermont) it would have been nice to know that the house has NO AC. Fans were provided though. Luckily for us, the weather cooled down during our stay and we survived. There are ALOT of rules at this house, so if you want a mindless trip, this is NOT the house for you. Though there are labels with instructions everywhere. The house is cluttered with furniture making it feel a bit cramped even with just 6 people. The outdoor...

「This is the only home in south central Vermont that offers not only 7 bedrooms, allows dogs but also includes a private lake! The house is huge with plenty of extra spaces to hang out in after a day of hiking and boating on the lake. We really appreciated the canoe, kayaks and paddleboards provided so that we did not need to drive 7 hours with our own. The bunk room next to one of the master suites was perfect for our grandkids and their parents. The high chair and portable crib were both...

「Our sibling family vacation was wonderful. The house comfortably accommodated all nine of us with plenty of space and well-equipped, clean, and comfortable sleeping arrangements.A few things to note: the driveway is steeper than expected, which made hauling our boat trailer a bit difficult. The dock is also across the street and a few houses down rather than directly at the property. These did not impact our overall stay, and we had a fantastic time. We would definitely recommend this home for a...

「You really can't go wrong staying in Stowe, and being on the Trapp Family Lodge property is a huge bonus. The grounds are beautiful, with stunning views, plenty to do, and lots of space to explore-and cows to visit! The villa was comfortable and well-appointed, with a king bed, breakfast nook, large bathroom, and kitchenette. The bonus room worked well for our group, offering two pull-out beds and a second bathroom with a spacious shower. The host was responsive and quickly addressed a minor...

「We had such a wonderful stay in the mountains. The setting was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and it was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and reconnect. The home had everything we needed and truly felt like a cozy retreat. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the memories made. We would absolutely stay here again!」

「Super nice property with an insane location if you are a hiker, mountain biker, or skier. The house was very clean and even came with a little welcome surprise which was such a nice touch! Maude the host was incredibly communicative, patient, and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend staying here!」

「Wonderful space. Super clean, accommodating, and perfectly secluded but still within close proximity to everything you'd like to do. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions prior to booking. Would definitely recommend if you want some peace and quiet without sacrificing any luxurious of home. Oh, did I forget to mention the sauna!? What a nice addition to this already nice home.」
