「had texted the property manager for the code first things in the morning before we got there, didn't receive the code until after we got there, upon arriving we quickly noticed roaches in the kitchen, and in the bathrooms & one of the bathroom smelled as if someone had used it right before we got there, texted the property manager about it and all they could say was "thanks for letting me know."all of the dishes were dirty in the cabinets, the paper towels seemed to have been drenched in water...

「The ONLY issue I had was the air conditioning, it worked but you could not turn on down in the evening to sleep. It was a little warm to sleep. Bring an extra fan, if you can. Overall great location from the strand and the seawall.」

「This was booked as a two day after cruise stay for two couples. We booked a two bedroom apt. with one bathroom. We figured for two days we could make one bathroom work. However the one bathroom was IN one of the bedrooms. So the other couple had to go through our bedroom every time they needed to use the bathroom. No!!! Just no on this super awkward layout. We found mice droppings under the kitchen sink and in a few other places. There were a couple dead bugs in the corner of one bedroom. We...

「We had an absolute wonderful stay. The owner was amazing. My husband and I will definitely stay here next time. We’re on the island. Don’t hesitate to book this place. It is truly everything you see in the pictures and more in a wonderful safe neighborhood. The parking was great thank you Justin.」

「I really liked this place. The only negative was that you could not be bare footed in the unit unless you wanted a black bottom on your feet. Just walking from the bathroom to the bedroom, I got something on the bottom of my feet that left them black. I could not see anything on the floor, but the result was black feet. It is sad, as I would gladly stay again as a solo traveler, but my wife absolutely will not stay there. It is the unknown that gets her. I'd just wear house shoes.」

Note that this is on the Strand side of the island (not the "beach side"), which is our preferred area to stay when visiting Galveston. It is also an old building, so the windows are not soundproof! 「Our stay was perfect for a nice getaway weekend. Perfect walking distance to anything you need, convenience store, beach, bar. The patio area in the backyard was a beautiful place to unwind. With two couples, we had all of the space needed to fit all of our needs and more. Bailey is a superb host and the dogs on property are adorable and sweet. I will always look to see if Bailey has availability for future beach trips. Thanks a million, Bailey!」

「The octopus lounge was amazing. Perfect for our girls getaway on the strand and so close to everything. Taryn, the host was easy to get in contact with and instructions were very clear. The historic building had been updated beautifully. There were plenty of beds and seating for our crew, and we loved having two bathrooms. I would love to stay here again!」
