"Pros: Extremely good location (right next to the Airport Rail Link), some of the staff were friendly Cons: Cleanliness is lacking, elevators were in various states of disrepair, and some staff felt very cold during my below issues. When I checked in during my stay, shortly after unpacking I killed a cockroach that crawled out from under my bed. On request they moved rooms for me, but the second room also had a cockroach that I killed in the bathtub. The third room seemed to be fine as far as I could tell, but all of this was during the middle of the night (while I was exhausted), and exacerbated by needing to go up and down the elevators that were literally held together by duct tape. If the travel convenience is worth the cleanliness concerns, then this budget hotel could still be a good choice."

"Beautiful hotel but the breakfast need more staff, one man trying to cook eggs for hotel full of guests. Also told breakfast was all day.......it is at an extra cost"

"Nice hotel. Furnishings a bit dated. Bedroom nice but bathrooms need updated. Simple things like peeling caulk, splinter wood, slightly stained chairs. Overall, good experience and would stay again."

"Staying at Solitaire Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 is consistently a warm and welcoming experience. This is the second time I have stayed at the property and they made my 30th birthday extremely special! From the moment I checked in, it was an easy, luxurious and stress free experience. Upon check in, they brought me out a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to me; they decorated my room and left lots of gifts and as usual the staff is always incredibly kind and attentive. If you are ever in Bangkok and want a special experience I would 100% recommend staying with them if you want to have an elevated experience. Thank you Solitaire!"

"The customer service at this hotel was the worst i've experienced while in thailand.When first checking in the guy issued us our room key and sent us on our way . No direction of where to go for the lifts etc no assistance or even offer of assistance with our luggage. There was a time when we were waiting at the bar area of the lobby basically the same desk as reception and 2 members of staff were talking amongst themselves(they weren't serving anyone)we waited and waited before i had to ask for assistance. All we wanted was ice and hotel info stated that the lobby bar was open until 11pm . It was 10:25pm when we asked,the lady said bar was closed and directed us to buy ice at the nearby store. The pool was supposed to be available between from 7:30am but we went up at 8:15am and was told by a member of staff who was staring into the pool that it would be accessible in 1 hour as he needed to clean it. We went back over an hour later at 9:30am and it was open but when we got in the pool it was not clean. There were flies on the top (thats not too bad ) but also what looked like skin particles or little bits of stuff in the water we could see it everywhere and had to get out . The pool was not clean. The rooftop bar also i never saw anyone serving there any of the times i went up. Our room was immaculate and very clean. Comfy beds and 2 tvs. Lots of space, a safe to keep belongings. The lobby area had a consistent smell of the toilets.Issues with room keys. "
