「Our stay at Burnhopeside Hall was one of our most memorable ever. Christine, our hostess, was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious and the surroundings could not have been more grand. This is a stately old home, full of beautiful furniture and dishes, near sheep pastures and the river. 「Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. 「The rosemary suite was ideal for 2 couples. Really spacious with super king beds and both en suite. Shower had great water pressure too! All the staff were absolutely lovely, and couldnt be more helpful when i was struggling with bags and a baby! 」
