「The hotel is great. Awesome vibe, very young! The staff is AMAZING!! The room is colorful and clean- but pretty small. Could be too small for 2 people. Also, it’s pretty far from downtown (even though it’s called Moxy Downtown), about 45 minute walk- so you have to drive/ Uber constantly. 」

「This is an older building that has been freshly painted. Our room was very clean; the bed comfortable and the towels were soft. No bells or whistles ie: in-room coffee maker or refrigerator, but it was adequate for our needs, being close to a wedding venue accross the bridge.」

「We’ve stayed in three hotels on this 2 week trip and the Mills House was by far the finest for everything, location, service room and dining. 」

「We liked the stay. However, the room that we were given had one small window, high up in the room that looked out on another bldg which was five feet away. So a windowless room, in effect. I would stay again if I could be assured of a better room. 」

「The staff was friendly. The facility was clean and looked to be well maintained and recently remodelled. The breakfast was very good (woo, sausage gravy!). The only issue was that, even though the advertised check in time was 4pm, my room wasnt availavle until just prior to 6pm (or at least that is when they notified me). I was in town for a wedding at 5pm so I had to change clothes in the lobby bathroom.」

「Very dark quiet rooms far enough off the main road to seem somewhat secluded. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. Fitness room nice also.」

「The front desk women named Julia always accommodates my husband and I every time we stay there and she is so nice and the gentleman who works the evenings also very accommodating and switched my room so I could have a microwave.overall very beautiful hotel with great staff !!!」

「We visited Charleston for my daughter’s graduation trip and our stay at the Palmetto was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. The shower is FABULOUS and the beds were very comfortable. We were conveniently located to King Street and the Charleston Market for shopping. We will definitely stay again for future travels to the area. 」
