Was great to just watch the boats go up and down the channel - literally a front row seat on the balcony. The unit is a little older and worn, and could have used a few more kitchen supplies (Only a couple forks and spoons) but when we were there it was all about the view.

The convenience of location was outstanding right in the middle of downtown so shopping, eating, and the water were just a short walk. The views on the balcony were gorgeous the young children that traveled with us loved watching the bridge go up and down when boats were coming through the canal. The fireplace was the perfect touch for the chilly weather that we experienced and made staying inside a little easier. It felt very clean and well taken care of.

But was disappointed this year with our experience. We stayed from Sunday night through Wednesday night. Room was not ready / not cleaned for the 4pm check in time on Sunday. And then the next day we did not get fresh towels and no coffee and no trash removed. We did have service the following days. I didn't like the fact that it was not staffed 24 hours at the front desk. I did not like the fact that only the front door had a keypad for access after hours. Was difficult to go up the steps for handicap people and not be able to use the ramp door. On the positive side, when staff was available at the front desk, they were very friendly and helpful. And the view from the room is awesome.

We had a late check in so we didn’t have an opportunity to see any management staff. The process to get the key was easy though. One thing we would have liked was to know ahead of time that the hot tub was not available. Also there was no wash cloth or sponge for washing dishes. The location was great to get to the ski resorts and the property was clean and well kept.
