「We have just returned from a two day stay at Two Rivers, Chepstow.
Our room was small but clean. The room was next to the entrance door and we experienced a lot of noise when the door opened and closed.
My husband twice requested an extra pillow but it never materialised.
We ate in the restaurant on both nights. The food was very nice but we had to chase the waitress for our desserts on both occasions.

「Firstly fantastic staff. Nothing too much trouble.
Lovely well stocked bar area.
Fabulous breakfast.
Very clean.
Free parking to the rear of the property.
Central location.
We stayed as we were attending a wedding so didn’t really explore much but what we saw was very nice.
Bedrooms were basic but this was obviously reflected in the price. Teas and coffee were well stocked in the room and had a good variety.

「This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....
