Spotlessly clean, spacious suite, beautiful Mountain View, cozy outside seating with rocking chairs around a fire pit and Adirondacks in the huge side yard, lovely front porch with rocking choirs, and inside lounge area with fireplace. Staff is friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The breakfasts were fabulous!
The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything.
The Andon-Reid is a really nice B&B in Waynesville. The property is in excellent condition and our room (the Carriage House) had nice amenities. Brenda and Peter are great hosts and breakfast was excellent. The grounds are very nice. We will very probably stay here again.
A couple of nits: The location is not terribly convenient. It is in an old neighborhood. The walk to downtown is about 0.8 miles (up and down hills) which seems too far to drive but may be hard for some. A TV in the room would have been a plus.
A lovely and relaxing weekend.Peter and Brenda are first class owners and their courtesy to the guests makes the stay delightful. (So much so that we scheduled another visit in October!)
So nice to spend three full days in Waynesville, NC.
The first Smoky Mountain Yoga & Wellness Festival was even better than I envisioned and the environment, people and offerings were magnificent.
Our accommodations at the Andon-Reid Inn Bed and Breakfast were some of the best I have ever experienced. Their kindness, attentiveness and service were all spectacular; above and beyond 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. If you are looking for a beautiful destination in the Smoky Mountains I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.
We loved the cozy carriage house. They accommodated my food allergies and still brought me a nice breakfast.
We hated the microfibre sheets.... they sleep really hot.
Absolutely loved this place. From the bar/ game room in basement to main living area with fireplace. Outside fire pit and close to town. Great escape for a couple. Breakfast was lovely as well.
The room and inn we’re immaculate. Our room was beautiful! The view was beautiful. The breakfast and afternoon snack was the best of any place we have been and the owners and staff were wonderful and very accommodating. They have a great work out area, including a game room and a relaxing area to watch TV.
The house and room were just as an outstanding B&B should be. Every amenity was thought of and present. Everything worked.
George and Andrea are warm hosts. Breakfasts were opulent. Their suggestions for the local area were spot on. They were available but not visible, except in the kitchen in the morning.
Highly recommended!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of being guests at The Andon-Reid Bed & Breakfast.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by one of the innkeepers, George. He welcomed us in a way that made us feel like we had just arrived at a favorite friend or relatives house. We stayed in the "Grand Library Suite" on the first floor off of the beautiful hickory trimmed foyer. Entering the room you are hit with a "wow" moment, it is warm and tastefully decorated with a king sized bed and fireplace. The large ensuite has a spa tub, separate shower and its own fireplace. The main common area is fully equipped with all your needs with a gorgeous view of the well kept grounds and neighboring mountain. After a great dinner at Watami Sushi on Main Street, we arrived back to the warmly lit house on the hill that looked like it was ripped from a Thomas Kincaid painting. From rocking chairs on the wrap around porch, we enjoyed a night of cool breezes, tree frogs, fireflies and a visit with a kitty named "Bib". Inside and downstairs there is a game room filled with activities, pool table, shuffleboard, exercise equipment, bar, television and seating. After a wonderful nights sleep in the dreamy bedding, we gathered for a delicious breakfast prepared by innkeeper Andrea that would delight any palate. Upon departure we were sent with well wishes and hopes of return. We had such a great experience that we immediately started planning another stay in the near future. Thank you George and Andrea!!
The property is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and accessible to area attractions. Our hosts (the owners) were a delight and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!
It was amazing! The owners and stay were amazing. I arrived after 11 pm and the owner greeted me and helped tote my luggage inside. Definitely will return for pleasure!!
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in their Garden View Room, and we had a fantastic stay! Andrea & George are excellent hosts, and very accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the size of both the room & bathroom were quite large. Their cat Bibb was always there to greet us by the door, what a cutie! We loved playing pool, throwing darts, and utilizing the fire pit overlooking the mountains. The walk into town was less than a 1/2 mile which was great for exploring the restaurants and shops. Food was decent. I'm a good chef at home, so to most individuals the food would be considered at a high level. I would definitely stay again for the environment, comfort, and phenomenal hosts!
