Best vacation ever!

We have stayed at many different VRBO’s. This one was the best by far. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and spotless!! It has everything you will need. It was convenient to downtown Waynesville and Maggievalley however we spent most of our time at the cabin.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed a week at this lovely cabin for our anniversary. This is by far one of the best cabins we have stayed at and will be returning next year, or maybe again this year!

Amazing!

This cabin was amazing! So clean and well-maintained, beautiful views, easy drive. The owners were extremely nice. The area is beautiful and close to many shopping areas and other attractions. We would definitely recommend!

The property is very clean and has plenty of space to spread out - we had hiking gear etc.. There is plenty of space on the patio to hang out also - lounge chairs and a nice dining table. The owners are on the same piece of land and couldn’t be more responsive and kind. The house is really a work of art for woodworkers. Just gorgeous flooring and walls etc. the house sits high up from the river so not direct access, but easy enough to drive one minute to be on the river. Easy access to Waynesville and Sylva and any hiking you can ever want to do. Great produce just north of the property.

Incredible get away!

Best vacation rental experience I’ve ever had. The host were amazing and super easy to communicate with! Cabin is beautiful and the view was great! Loved every minute.

Cedar cliff cabin

Beautiful secluded restored cabin on a wonderful property. Close to waynesville which is a great small town with lots of dining options. Property owners were great and very accommodating. We did not want to leave!

Perfect!!

Beautiful home, beautiful area, great views and wonderful hosts!! From the front porch you can sit and watch the cows in the pasture, enjoy the surrounding mountain views, listen to the river below and even see a pair of Bald Eagles all while being very secluded yet close to everything!

Fall Getaway

Our stay was PERFECT!!! This cabin is Gorgeous! The owners are so welcoming. They have truly poured alot of love into the cabin! From a spectacular view to the craftmanship, decor & ammenities, nothing was missed. We truly enjoyed our stay & will be looking up Rivers Edge Cabin Rentals on our next stay in Waynesville..our favorite lil mountain town.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

So much heart and soul went into this cabin. The workmanship and decor is top notch. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The location is private but close enough to the main square. The proprietors, Jack and Christy were warn and welcoming and just a call or text away should you need them. We are already planning another trip.

Fantastic cabin with great view

We were really impressed with the care and detail that have gone into making this cabin really comfortable and beautiful. Jack and Christy are great hosts and were responsive, and genuinely seemed to want to meet us and help us with any questions we had. Having not stayed near this side of the park before, we wondered if we would find enough hiking, sightseeing and other activities, but we truly enjoyed it much more than we thought we would. It is much quieter than staying north of the park, and we would absolutely return again, to the area and the property.

All we hoped for and more

I almost hate to review the Cedar Cliff Cabin, because I want it to be available next time we are out that way. This beautiful property exceeded our expectations in every way. Breathtaking location on the Pigeon River, superbly appointed and furnished cabin, with a historic feel--lots of reclaimed wood and other classic design elements but with all the modern comforts. The cabin sits on a large property that is shared with a couple of other beautiful rentals and the host's residence. Jack and Christy were welcoming, engaging, and very knowledgeable about the area. We could not have been happier with our experience at Cedar Cliff Cabin. As a bonus, I got light shows from fireflies every night--had not seen them in like 30 years. Thanks, Jack & Christy! Hope to see you again soon.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat with a Personal Touch

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The cabin was the perfect couple’s getaway — private, peaceful, and beautifully decorated with tasteful modern upgrades. The mountain views from the porch were stunning and made for a truly relaxing experience. You can tell the owners have put a lot of love and care into the space. They even stopped by to personally welcome us — a rare gesture these days. While unexpected, it was clear it came from a place of genuine hospitality. If you're looking for a cozy retreat in nature that’s still close to downtown, this is the perfect spot!

Gorgeous Cabin

Everything was perfect! The cabin is exceptionally and beautifully decorated, and the fall decor was an added touch. Everything you need, is here in the cabin. I was happy to see a Kureig and a regular brewing coffee pot. The water from the faucet is excellent to drink and is great for my hair. It's not like the Florida chlorinated water I'm afraid to drink and frizzes out my already frizzy hair. The fireplace remote is on the wall, and is on a timer ('Skytech' I believe was the name on the timer). The outside porch is so nice and I really enjoyed sitting there overlooking the river. The owners are absolutely wonderful and have great communication. We weren't sure if we should proceed with the trip, being Hurricane Helene's mass of destruction, but they let us know it was okay to go and they need our business in the area. This was our 2nd trip there. The first being the Riverbend Cabin, which is also beautiful cabin as well. As long as the owners offer these cabins to stay, we will always come back to their beautiful cabins.

Perfect Cliff Cabin

This was a beautiful location over looking River and Mtns. The cabin was pristine. It was so comfortable and clean! My wife was esthetic! Jack was so easy to communicate with. We visit this area every Autumn for our anniversary. By far, this was the best place we ever booked. The Cedar Cliff Cabin combines rustic with luxury. The craftsmanship and attention to every detail was a delight. The front porch and view would be difficult to beat anywhere. This is a beautiful cabin and you can feel the love and work they put into creating a perfect getaway for their guests. We enjoyed our time here tremendously, and won’t stay anywhere else now. We were spoiled with this one, and nothing else will do. 💕💕💕💕

Amazing cabin and property!

I cannot express the beautiful of this cabin and property! We felt very secluded, but we’re not too far from town. A river runs the the property for those who like to fish. Heating and seeing the cows was an added bonus! I highly recommend this cabin!!

This cabin is on private property. We felt very safe and secure. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. The view is amazing. We just can't say enough good things about it. Jack & Christy are very friendly and just good people. There was a bunny who came to greet us every morning, and sometimes in the evening. Would stay again in a hearbeat.
