While this is an old-style motel, the manager provided excellent service during my stay. Because the temperature was dropping below zero at night, the manager provided a space heater to ensure I wasn't cold. When heavier than expected snow fell, the manager called to offer to bring coffee to the room, and even to pick up takeout for me from one of the local restaurants. When I was ready to check out the following morning, he had already shoveled out my car and even cleared the windows before offering to carry my bag out. His service may have been especially thoughtful because I am a senior citizen, but I truly appreciate it. Lastly, the location was convenient to both Midway Airport and to my Oak Lawn destination.

Room spotless, felt like I was at home. Microwave, small fridge, blow dryer and Front desk person very pleasant. My favorite place to go for me time. Been coming since the 90s. Will visit much more next year.

Room looked like dungeon. Room was dirty, dark, and falling apart. Safety issues with the electrical sockets coming out of the wall. Socket by tv overloaded and power strip just “ hanging “ down the wall. The bathtub was slick and presented a safety falling hazard. I’m only glad that I was busy all day and only had to sleep there. Not worth the price I paid for it. Will not come back.

The room was ok the man owner had gentle sweet spirit, the woman was ok but very rude when I ask her about why don’t they have the dnd door hangers. They would go in our room after we left. I was leaving little traps to be able to tell if they can in. They failed every time. I confronted the lady she said we change towels and take out trash . I told her she didn’t because trash was still in my room. I bought my own whit rags and they took them thinking they were there’s.if they had not come in my room without my permission this would have neva happened. I was there for a church event and my God sister shared a room with me. When she came in the room the one time she looked at the beds and saw my sister bed was messed up and not mine and just looked at us. No ma’am we just shared a room for church. I fixed my bed back up myself because I like a neat part of the room . I only gave a 4 star because of the men. Will not be going back to the establishment and I told her. I was not nasty just told her to lower her voice and I will not be back. Have a nice day. Went back to my room and began packing up. O there breakfast was only boiled egg stale cereal and a blueberry cream cheese danish. No real food as indicated on web site. False info.
