“I hate surprise fees, like PARKING for $25 per day! Also the free breakfast had powdered eggs. No restaurant ever uses powdered eggs, nor should any hotel. Powdered eggs are for homeless shelters. The rest of the breakfast items were great, big selection..”

“When checked in, people before us received welcome bag and we did not. I think everyone should get it or just leave it in the room of those guest that are getting one..felt unwelcome form the first moment. Also rooms are pretty clean but entrance and even side entrances smelled like urine and there was a lot of trash…saw two floor cleaning buckets (under the stairs by the side entrance) full with dirty water… Anyhow, we like the rooms since they are pretty clean and we like location of the……

“We loved our stay at Fenwick Shores. It’s a nice quiet hotel and is within minutes of Ocean City. I felt extremely safe because you have to use your keycard to even use the elevators. Parking is on site, all the staff was friendly, and the room was clean! The ONLY complaint & it’s a really dumb one was the wifi was weak & phone service is bad. I think because I have kids & my grandmother is extremely sick it irritated me. Other than that we had an amazing time & will be back soon.”

“The breakfast was delicious, clean rooms and great accessible parking. The staff was also very friendly and helpful however housekeeping was going to help us clean something that spilled and hours later never came, we needed new towels as well that never got delivered so we had to refollow up at that point they had already left and we had to have help from the desk. The ice machine was working for some ice and then stopped working, which was unfortunate on the hot day.”

“The day I arrived and got to my room, I found the shower faucet was not working properly later. I turned, I pulled and twisted to the best of my ability and no water would come out. I reported it to the front desk. The next day I called and talked to Andre, the manager and he rudely said it was working fine and he would show me how to use it. When I returned to the motel that day, I asked Mike who was working the front desk to come up and try the faucet. He tried it and watched me try it and……

“Love staying here and will return time and time again. The rooms are always clean. You’re right near the ocean. They give you free ice in a bag and coupon discounts to the local attractions. They could have a better selection for the free breakfast. They do need to maintain the properties a little better. For the price, just the bed quality and proximity to beach makes me super happy!”

“Staying in a refurbished Lighthouse was unique experience. The rooms are essentially pie shaped with an inviting beach theme. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having 6 full sized pillows. Our fridge was stocked every morning with fruit, OJ, complimentary muffins, and yogurt. There were also various beverages and water. There was a keurig in the room as well as at the coffee bar in the Common room. Outside the Common room is a long porch which faced the bay, and was wonderful to relax……

“Customer service is great and the front desk staffs the kitchen staff was well professional even with a lot of people during my stay and was demanding she was there the hotel is clean and well maintained I enjoyed my stay”

“Love that it was next to beach and right in the middle of an active lifestyle for after hour beach time. Close to everything. Added plus was the parking garage. Must be a heavy sleeper as the nightlife will keep you up all night. But again....that's Dewey. Great place!”

Nestled on the bay, it offers one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen in Ocean City. “We enjoyed our stay here. Only issue was they seem to have a towel shortage. Other than that it’s a great location and close to a lot of things! Easy walk to the beach and our boys enjoyed fishing off the dock!”

“Princess Royale Resort is a family friendly hotel. The food is great and the hotel rooms are newly renovated and clean. Direct access to the beach from the hotel makes it even better. One thing I do wish the hotel included is free beach umbrellas and chairs. Daily rental of an umbrella and three chairs cost $80 a day, which is a bit expensive considering their hotel room rates. Be sure to bring your own beach umbrella and chair to avoid that high cost.”
