  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Better than a Hotel

Found this gem when looking for lodging for Baylor Graduation. Accommodations were as described and pictures were spot on for accuracy. It was superbly clean and a comfortable stay. We will definitely consider it on our future Waco trips.

Wonderful little cottage

We enjoyed our stay in Daniel and Maria’s cottage. Due to rain and horrible Dallas traffic we arrived later in the evening but Daniel was so kind to meet us and make sure we were comfortable. The directions to their place were spot-on. The cottage is cute and the finishes were done well. They were so kind to leave fresh eggs in the refrigerator for us. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great stay for the eclipse!

Had a great time here with our family (2 kids, 7 and 2). Came for the eclipse, but this seemed like a solid base regardless of when you’d be in Waco. Chatted with the hosts for a while on the first day, very welcoming and had some great reccos in local restaurants!

Amazing paradise near Waco

We loved our stay here! The cottage was immaculate and so cozy! The owners were so sweet and even invited us to watch the solar eclipse with them. There were lots of extras we didn't expect, several sorts of coffee & tea choices, creamers, honey, sugar, snack bars, cookies, bottled water and even sparking water. It's in a beautiful location and so peaceful, we would definitely go back again!
