Comfortable well appointed modern rooms and good amenities, with quirky art work, but still retaining original features like the beautiful stained glass and the striking stair case. Staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is good. Fantastic location next to Lime Street Station, with an exit door leading straight onto the concourse. A short walk to both Liverpool Empire and Playhouse, makes it a very convenient place to stay when visiting the theatre."

"This is a nice hotel but it should be for the price. Close to the Docks and other amenities. Comfortable bed and good pillows, staff were quite helpful and friendly. However the English breakfast was not great. Mostly everything overcooked, low quality sausage and bacon. No toast and undercooked and cold poached eggs. If you’re staying here, choose another place for breakfast. For £19 it was a waste if money."
