「Hotel Las Qolqas is much more than a place to stay — it’s a destination in itself. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it combines luxury and nature in perfect harmony. The hotel is impeccably maintained, yet it lets you feel the powerful presence of the surrounding landscape. The food is outstanding, by chef Lenin and his staff: Luis, Rafael, Victor, Eliana, Dafne and Sara. The atmosphere is serene, and every detail carefully crafted. If you’re visiting Machu Picchu, stay at least three nights to...

「This place is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The view from the 3rd floor terrace is unbelievable. Inca ruins in every direction. 4 minute walk to the plaza and action. The hotel however is quiet. No cars anywhere. History with every step. Loved it and am coming back soon.」

「Humantay Lodge was a great experience from start to finish. The owner clearly takes pride in the place and it shows in the service and the overall atmosphere. The breakfast options were excellent and the staff was friendly and welcoming. René, who works at the hotel, even became my tour guide for a day. I had great conversations with him and appreciated his hospitality.
The rooms are small but very quaint, comfortable, and perfect for the setting. The lodge is not right in the center of town,...

「We really enjoyed our stay. Natalia took good care of us and we were able to communicate well despite our limited Spanish. There was good wifi, lots of blankets, a nice view of the street and the ruins from the balcony and the breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate to stay here again.」

「The room was just average and not very clean, and it was not worth $40.
The manager and staff were very irresponsible. Most staff didn't speak in English. The breakfast serving was very slow.
I gave them my laundry, and 2 days later, they almost lost my laundry. After a long while (it wasted lots of time), they found my laundry, but it didn't be washed. The manager just hid behind the door and left other staffs who couldn't speak in English to talk to us. They didn't even say sorry about it....

「The staff were very helpful and tentative.
Room was clean and efficient.
Close to the train station was helpful with plenty of taxis to assist if wanted.」

「We had a very lovely stay at Nuna Sumaq. We were even allowed to stay in our room well beyond checkout time, as my girlfriend was sick and needed some more time to rest. Can highly recommend the place.」

「We stayed here for 5 nights while exploring the area and doing our 2 day trip to Machu Picchu. This was the perfect place. It’s not fancy but it’s clean, bed was super comfy, it’s on a quiet road beside a stream that sounded so great when going to sleep. Breakfast was simple but everything we needed. Location was a couple on minute walk to everything in town. Also could see the ruins right outside our window, so easy to explore those too. Ollantaytambo was the greatest little town. Very...

「We loved staying here! The family were lovely and accommodating. They took through the wilderness in their back yard and beyond which was super cool. The rooms were comfortable and we especially loved our patio overlooking the town and endless festivals (do they ever end?!?!). There wasn't hot water, but that is what we expected for this price. I would recommend!」

「It's right next to a beautiful rushing creek, with a lovely field across it. There is a view of the local ruins. The garden and common/dining area are beautiful as well. The hosts are friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. If you don't like white noise, the sound of the creek may not be for you, I enjoyed it. The description advertises down comforters and pillow selections, but that's not the case. We were cold, so we asked, and they provided a space heater, which...
