"Our room was setup nicely. The staff was very helpful especially the bar staff Tom O went above and beyond. The spa was amazing and Sam was very professional and great with her skillful massage techniques. Loved the location, the river view and the hotel."

"Excellent hotel, lovely staff. Would recommend eating in the restaurants. Continental breakfast included, good varied choice. Beautiful view from restaurant. Just need to update the lighting and switches in the bedrooms as quite dark and switches were old momentary type."

"Our stay was for 3 nights in a comfy double room. This type of room was up 3 flight of stays (No Lift) so not suitable if stairs an issue with cases. Room was clean and bathroom was modern with a powerful shower. Found bed not that comfy, but would stay again and try a different room. Full Breakfast was lovely and can be altered to suit. Evening menu could have more choice and not very generous for the price. Menu would be better if changes can be made and not so much fish on menu. All staff were fantastic and friendly and could not do enough for you. The hotel is a great location to visit nearby Mudeford, Poole and Bournemouth."

"The staff were very polite and attentive, and approachable. Unfortunately the grounds resembled a scrap yard, and the jacuzzi is in desperate need of a new cover. Suite 1 was our 4 night abode, very stylish inside but again let down by a very rusty and dodgy sun awning. With a refresh to the grounds, and tidy up of the garages this would be a wonderful place to stay."

"We enjoyed a wonderful four days at this property. It's a proper home with real soul. Lovely artwork on the walls and everything you could possibly need. Looks better in real life than in the photo's. The location was superb. Great to soak everything in from one of the balconies and just a short stroll to the beach for early morning swims. We parked the car and didn't use it again until we left. We walked into Christchurch one day, got the ferry across to Hengistbury Head for a big coastal walk and also walked along the beach to Highcliffe Castle another day. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Amber was great and we'll definitely be back for another visit!"
