"Great little comfortable retreat in the heart of Helmsley. Ideal for enjoying the many local eateries and exploring the area. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, stairs to main living area. We would not hesitate to return, enjoyed our stay."

"A great holiday home. We found Holly- Garth to be in a great location both in terms of being close to all amenities in the town, but also well placed for outings to the surrounding neighbourhood.The house was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. TV was excellent ( there were 3 of them) and was spotlessly clean . Sadly it wasn’t warm enough to use the lovely patio.The only thing that we found slightly strange was that as there were only two of us we were asked which bedrooms we wanted to use so beds could be made up for us. We found this difficult to do without seeing them. There was no reduction in price for being only two people so it would have been good to either offer a reduction or have made up all the beds so we should choose which rooms to use on arrival as we had paid the same as if there were 8 people.We enjoyed our stay and would happily return"
