「Everything was absolutely perfect . The room was beautiful and very comfortable. All the areas, including the Spa, are well appointed and clean and the staff is excellent - well trained, friendly and courteous. A relaxing fabulous atmosphere. The staff couldn’t do more for us and always with a smile. 」

Very well appointed, all the food we had at breakfast on two mornings, and dinner one evening was very good. Although busy service was excellent, and all the staff without fail were a credit to the hotel. Very, very pleased with the whole visit, and would not hesitate to stay again.」

「This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab.」

「What an amazing place! Beautifully restored, warm, cosy and very welcoming/relaxing and with a fascinating history (used in many films). Helpful attentive staff whilst not being “stuffy” (a pet hate of mine!). Would definitely treat ourselves to a stay here again. 」

「The room and bathroom were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. However my daughters missed 2 nights sleep in Rm.8 because of the band and drums until 3am! We had travelled from Canada to be with family so their exhaustion was so disappointing. 」
