"Staff were pleasant room was lovely we had the honeymoon suite. Breakfast was spot on. Only thing that lets the hotel down is no bar so if you fancied a nightcap, you couldn’t get one. But would definitely recommend this hotel so the only downside is no Bar but can live with that."

"We have just returned from a long weekend in this property it was truely lovely the lodge was clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a stay,it even had fresh flowers in the living and dining areas. The hosts were very helpful with any queries we had. The scenery was beautiful and it was nice watching the cows in the mornings.we will definitely be back."

The beds were lovely and comfortable and the property manager went out of her way to give clear instructions and to help as much as she could. "A great stay.Myself and family (7 of us including grandchildren aged 5 and 2) stayed here for 4 nights as we were in the area for a wedding.The contact with the host was excellent and the accommodation was plenty big enough for all of us to spend time together or equally to have some quiet time.There was plenty of storage space and all the kitchen equipment we needed.We were left fresh baked bread, butter and milk on arrival which was very gratefully received. The area was very peaceful and the children loved going to feed to chickens and collect eggs in the morning. The farmhouse needs a little tlc in some areas but this is an older property so only to be expected but this did not negatively affect our stay at all.I would recommend this property to others and we would stay again if back in the area. "
