“The location of the cabin was very convenient to a good amount of wineries. We visited 9 and didn’t have to drive any further than maybe 20 minutes, many of them were within a 5 minute drive. The cabin is on the lake, the hot tub is awesome! The cabin was cozy and made us feel right at home, even our dog was so relaxed there. it was staged beautifully when we arrived, and there were towels for the hot tub, plenty of bathroom towels, kitchen towels, and the kitchen had pots, pans, toaster,……

“Charlie the owners was at the property very welcoming and nice .the property was amazing. Right on a river. The house was above incredible, you feel your at spa .he has everything you could ever want. The only down is the well water has a sulfur smell but he provides bottled water for cooking and cleaning .so no problem. Cool evening enjoyed a nice fire.the pictures on the site are exactly what it looks like. Dont think theres a picture of the bench by the river its a great place to set.”

Chris was very helpful and when he learned we were coming to be in the area for the eclipse he let us stay for the entire afternoon even though check out was at 10 AM since he didn't have a booking after us. “We were 4 families that rented the Osprey Manor for a weekend at Cayuga lake to view the Solar Eclipse in its path of totality on April 8, 2024. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old house... the walk to the lake and the view of the lake from the front of the property were lovely... We especially enjoyed the lovely reading nook upstairs with a view of the lake, and many of us spent time sitting there reading books, or chatting with each other in the glow of the evening sun! “My main complaint was the listing said basic soaps To me that should include shower soap- all other places I have stayed have as well as shampoos We arrived at the property at 10 pm and had to go out to the store to buy soap so we could all shower in the morning That was the major disappointment. Otherwise the house is spacious and well kept”

“Nice property. It is a little isolated, in the middle of vast fields. No wifi or televisions, so be prepared for peaceful isolation. We struggled with tge flies and couldn't understand how they got inside. We bought some fly swatters and left tgem at the property for the next guest. Overall, it was a beautifully peaceful stay.”
