Superb holiday park.

Superb holiday park. Accommodation was fantastic, bar and restaurant was very good and not over priced. Site nice and quiet and very clean. Only a few miles outside of keswick and lots of other places within a short drive. Thinking of going back for a third time this year, maybe just before Xmas. Highly recommended.

We purposely booked the advertised 8 birth turned lodge as it clearly stated in the property details, this had a hot tub. Upon arrival and when given the keys we questioned why we hadn’t been given the lodge we paid for and the response was VRBO had just used a description and falsely advertised the lodge had a hot tub. The check-in clerk (elder lady) on site was rude and gave every excuse under the sun to not accommodate what we’d paid for and when we spoke to Hoseasons, they were all too familiar with the report that was being made, but also could not help. The lodge was far from clean and hygienic with blood, mould and other stains on the bedding and on the bedroom walls. The site took no responsibility for that either. A formal complain will be lodged for recompense for false advertisement and a lack of accountability. It absolutely ruined the purpose of our weekend away and we weren’t the only ones!
