“Comfy bed. Neat, tidy and clean. Fresh fruit available. Bright and spacious. “This is a giant, rambling old mansion that has been converted into lodging. I wish we'd had more time to discuss its history with our host Maria. We wound up here because our original choice had a fire, and we had to find a place at the last minute. We were here to tour the university and it's about a 25 minute hike. In the end, our room was comfy, cool and quiet, and that's what's important to us. BTW, Uber works really well in Coimbra.”

“The apartment arrangement is fine. Next to the University of Coimbra which was the reason for our stay. Coimbra near the University is very hilly, but the area is beautiful in September. "Beautiful hotel and vibe! Good location, right next to the university. Breakfast is carefully curated with home made cake etc but there wasn’t a lot of variety. Parking was a pain given the hotel is situated on top of the hill surrounded by narrow roads that are parked with cars, but one can manage with help. "
