Broken AC

I drove across the country with my two dogs and was excited to finally get there. The instructions on where the unit was online was incorrect but I found the unit. Once in (9:30PM), a whaf of hot air came at me. The units old ac system was on, blowing hot air. The owner must have known this was an issue as there were dloor fans blowing on high in each room. It was too hot to stay in with my two dogs. I could not imagine what it would have felt like during the day. The unit itself was ok and fairly clean.
