“I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks……

“We were given a lovely little lodge in courtyard with downstairs Tv area & bathroom and a mezzanine upper where the comfiest of beds were situated. The bathroom was beautiful, massive shower cubicle! The hosts were brilliant, even down to being shown which parts of the building were eldest & a centuries old stone winding staircase that was used by soldiers in the days of fighting over the English Scottish border. “There was a problem with the shower it was stone cold. Robin deducted some money from my bill as a good will gester. Before we checked out a plumber was there to fix the fault for the next guest . These things happen and it hasn't put me off staying again . Food was fab room was clean and service was excellent. Definitely recommend. And will stay again.”

“We can not fault anything, it was absolutely beautiful, we stayed in the gatehouse room which was incredible and extremely comfortable, the inn it’s self is so cosy and it’s definitely the friendliest inn that we have been in, the food was 10 out 10 the views from the beer garden where beautiful, the staff where so lovely and nothing is too much for them, they just want to look after you. It’s in an outstanding area and not for from the beautiful Kielder forest. We can not wait to go back for a……
