「All the staff, in particular David, were incredibly helpful, professional & thoughtful. A minor personal crisis occurred and David could not have been more thoughtful & understanding. The hotel is perfectly located. The suite had everything we needed and the massive bed was super comfy. I cannot recommend this place enough.」

「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

「Very safe property with motion activated lights on all stairways, fire extinguishers, railings on stairs, things of that nature. Is close to town and very walkable. There’s a grocery store nearby, Aldi, and close to restaurants and pubs. I liked how they had French presses to do wonderful coffee in the morning.」

「Standard Room. Room itself had some damage (peeled paint, stained carpet) bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom/shower was nice. View of the ocean was wonderful.
No mini fridge, ice machine, or water refills so plan ahead (there is a cash only vending machine for bottled water and snacks)
Staff was kind and helpful. Bar drink prices were reasonable for a hotel bar.」

「Paul and all the staff could not have been more helpful. We thoughly enjoyed our stay in Murphy's Hotel. Rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed. The food was first class as well. We would definitely recommend this Hotel.」
