Perfect sunset view

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage on the bay. The view of the sunsets from the large deck area was priceless, the cottage was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located.

GREAT LOCATION TO SHORE ACRES LIGHTS

Cute cozy little house. Close to shore acres for Christmas lights. Rural feeling, yet minutes from the beach and town. Wake up to amazing bay views. Will definitely stay here again.

The bay view from this rental is amazing. Plus it is only 15 minutes from the beautiful Shore Acres Park and the sweet Charleston area.

Best View of the Bay

We enjoy this rental so much! The view to the bay just cannot be beat. This cabin is less than 15 minutes to Shore Acres Park which is a virtually unknown treasure along the southern Oregon coast. We look forward to our next visit~

Great home for families!

The house was clean, well supplied and just right for our little family. The location is lovely and we were blessed with gorgeous sunsets each evening. The deck was amazing with the glass windbreak around the dining area and the open part was great for enjoying the sun. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Cozy place on the water

We had a very nice stay here. The house has all the touches of home and the location is great. My mom, brother and I visited to explore the area. This was a great home base for us. The master bedroom has great views and the porch has a friendly neighborhood cat, Felipe. The owner is next door and friendly.

Nice home

This was a very nice place to stay in for a few days. Good size bedrooms and I loved the decorations throughout the home. They provided plenty of everything throughout our stay, ie bedding, towels, paper towels etc. It was great waking up to the view of the ocean. We would definitely look into renting this one out again in the future. Thank you.

We had a fabulous stay at the Gray Goose house. Center location to the things we wanted to see. The deck is very relaxing as well as the entire space. One thing I wound request is Kleenex and a guide to use the TV. Thank you and hope to be back!

Fantastic getaway

Gray Goose is a gem. Being on the bay gives great opportunities to watch the wind/rain on the water, see birds feeding, track an occasional boat, even a ship/barge. Very quiet, peaceful, and clean! Hearing the rain on the back porch roof is very soothing. Will definitely come again!

This is a perfect little waterfront cottage for a smaller family. Our family of 4 was cozy, it could have comfortably fit one more, 7 would be a tight fit. Very clean, it had everything we needed. My 15 and 11 year old boys really enjoyed digging for clams in the low tide. Itnono longer has y

Not Private, workers going in and out of garage, property manager lives next door and watches like a hawk! She Was not nice when we first arrived… Beach is full of Glass and is not for children. Cleanliness of inside of house was nice! House in general is very nice. The beach was so bad we had to get toys for our daughter to play with on the back porch. One of the toys flew onto the roof from the wind, my uncle went to retrieve it and the property manager came out screaming at us about liabilities. Didn’t ask what was happening or anything and just left after threatening to kick us out.

Comfy Home On The Bay

Nice comfortable home right on Coos Bay. Enjoyed beautiful weather and sunsets. Utilized the chaise lounges on the spacious deck. Part of the deck is covered and protected by glass to break the wind. We enjoyed the BBQ and eating outside on the deck. As in most homes we've stayed at they ask you to remove your shoes while inside. To our delight we discovered some disposable slippers in a basket inside the front door. We enjoyed the slippers and took them with us to use at the two other rentals we were staying at further up the coast. We also enjoyed the cat. Outside of course! There is no dishwasher and some of the pots and pans needed to be cleaned before we could use them. One thing I would recommend would be a welcome binder with TV remote instructions, recommendations for local restaurants, local attractions etc. We would absolutely stay at the Grey Goose Beach Cottage again.

Great location

Quiet place off the beaten path with great views of ocean birds and tides. Nice deck with wind block. Plenty of room inside. Lots of great places to visit close to this cottage. Enjoyed 2 days of hiking and sight seeing nearby.

I enjoyed staying so close to the water and seeing the traffic (both boat and bird) during my stay. There was a friendly neighborhood cat that stopped by and enjoyed being pet and played with (cat did not come inside the unit).
