Very Comfortable, Roomy, and Good Location

The house is well-maintained, the AC worked well, and all rooms and beds were very comfortable. There’s plenty of parking in the driveway for at least four vehicles. The spacious backyard and small fishing dock were nice for fishing in the mornings and evenings.

Nic place

We were cancelled twice and had to find a new place twice. This home is very nice and stocked with every thing you need. The water is very shallow. But the home itself is wonderful. Our problem was we couldn’t keep our boat there. So we drove ve every day and put our boat in and out at other public docks. We did catch 8 different kinds of fish from the dock, casting into the deeper water in the canal. All small, but kids would have a blast. Used dead shrimp!

Wonderful place except….

……going to Rockport is predominately about fishing. The listing touted the private waterfront dock with powerful spotlight attracting hundreds of fish & some reviews confirmed this but upon arrival we found the supposed powerful spotlight to be a rusted out, inoperable piece of junk. There was a feeble attempt to add a tiny underwater green spectrum light that only attracted minnows. This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay for a group or family at an attractive price compared to others but the inattentive attitude toward this huge selling point is disappointing. Just fix it and we will happily return and also recommend to others!
