“The place is clearly a newly rennovated farm building, perhaps to the extent of being a re-build on an existing foot print. It looks like there might end up being around 8 rental properties on site. The kitchen is well laid out, and whilst there was pleny of stuff for the three of us, I think a few top-ups might be in order if this is really intended for 4-6 people. Hot water is through a tank, so limited in quantity - there was just enough for showers (in the small downstairs bathroom) but one……

“The checking In process was extremely easy, the cabin was beautiful and the host already preheating the hot tub for us so it was ready to get in to once we got there. It was in such a peaceful quiet environment too. It was lovely.”

“The property was clean, including the bedding and towels. Kitchen and bathroom were equipped with all we needed. Short walk into the city where for the many restaurants. Parking was a challenge. The area where it was indicated we should park was very small, barely wider than the pavement, so the car would have needed to be parked alongside the garage rather than reversed into the space in front of the garage otherwise the car would protrude into the road. “The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city……

“Poor value for money - very overpriced. However, if money is not an issue, then the property is large, bedrooms are clean and large and the place is in beautiful countryside with knock-out views. The rooms downstairs are small for large group of people.”

“Clean room, lovely staff, great location for getting to Download festival. Really good value for money. A few things to note - the reception is located in a different area of the campus to the accommodation. For the reception you want to navigate to the South entrance on Landcroft Lane and then take the first left. The room itself was good although it was quite warm in the summer & the pillows were thin so I’d recommend bringing some additional pillows with you. There is a large carpark by……
