“We had such a wonderful stay at this shepherd’s hut in the Cotswolds. Set on a working farm, it offered the perfect balance of peaceful countryside escape with a real sense of rural life going on around us.
The hut itself was beautifully done—cosy, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of the farm and the surrounding nature was a real highlight, and the setting was absolutely stunning.

“Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. ”

“Why is the rating so low?
Because the photos and the description do not match reality. The listing clearly states that guests have access to a BBQ (as shown on the website), but the real photos do not confirm the presence of any barbecue area. In our messages, we were informed at the last moment that there was no BBQ at all. The host even suggested that we could bring our own barbecue, which clearly shows that the listing was misleading. “My husband and I had a lovely stay at Apple tree glamping. We had no trouble gaining access with the key box outside. The pod was well equipped, clean and comfortable. My husband even said it was the best 3 nights sleep he’d had in a very long time the bed sheets were so soft and the mattress and pillows comfy.
The hot tub was an added bonus and easy to use. Would definitely stay again.”
