「Charming little town near the airport. We didn’t want our Ireland adventure to at an impersonal hotel outside the airport. Malahide was a nice end-cap to the Ireland adventure. The Guest House is very walkable to the castle and restaurants. The Host, Tia, is lovely and accessible for help.」

「The hotel is already relatively "modern" if you compare it with other hotels nearby. The single room and bed are small and old, but comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a spider in my room, which was totally unacceptable. I was advised by the receptionist that it was her first time to hear that and I should take a photo (if I did, I would upload this photo together with my comment). I literally gave a call to the receptionist and it took 15 minutes for her to come to my room, and it took...

「Overall, I’d say this was an excellent place to stay! It’s a safe neighborhood, and the staff were very kind, accommodating, and informative when I had some last minute luggage issues. The room itself was perfect for what I needed, and the breakfast was delicious. My only concern was that I could not manage to get the hot water to work both in my sink and the shower, but I assume that was a fluke. All in all, I’d still recommend it for any traveler (especially solo travelers).」

「beautiful classic setting, in close proximity of the city and the Aviva stadium. Rooms are compact, but smartly done. Everything you need for a short stay. Rooms are single glazed, and therefore quite fresh at night.」

「Comfortable room with all the basic necessities in place. Friendly owner and staff. Close to bus stop for buses that take you to city centre. While the DART station is slightly far away, it’s a nice 20-minute walk in the neighbourhood (and through a lovely little park). I was spoilt by the delicious breakfast every morning! 」
