“Overall, we had a very positive stay and would recommend the property, especially for groups or families. The house was clean, spacious, and had plenty of bathrooms, which made it very convenient for a larger group. The location was great too — only a 10–15 minute walk into town — and there was enough parking for two vehicles. The TV setup was excellent, with all the channels you’d need including Netflix.
There were a few areas that could be improved. A 4pm check-in and 10am check-out felt……

“Lovely house, very clean and bright and location suited us perfectly. Clear instructions given for use of heating/hot water etc. Outdoor furniture could do with a lick of paint & one chair seat was broken. Otherwise excellent and we would hope to stay again in the future.”

“Our group of family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Scartlea and we hope to return again soon! Fiona was an inviting host and she responded to our questions and needs promptly. The spacious house was beautifully appointed and the kitchen had everything the gourmet cooks in the group needed. And, it was a great location ~ five minutes from town in a quiet neighborhood. We highly recommend staying here!”
