"Fabulous stay and we knew the hotel is an old building with restricted accessibility due to split levels, however we stayed in the new area adjacent to the rear carpark with my son who is a wheelchair user. Room absolutely gorgeous with adjacent wetroom which was perfect. We went to the front of the hotel to access a separate door to the breakfast room and warmly greeted by the staff with a portable ramp. Definitely will return as so central and hotel perfect for our needs."

"This is a lovely hotel. However, the floor plan is very complex. The room we had (and certainly not the cheapest) was on the first floor. Up to the first floor in the elevator. Up several steps, down several steps and then down 2 flights of stairs. This is definitely not accessible."

"I stayed here for a couple of nights and overall it was a decent experience. The room was on the small side—definitely compact—but it had everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable although made squeaking noise when turning over, the wifi worked well. It's not a place you'd want to spend a lot of time lounging in, since space is tight, but if you're just looking for somewhere clean to sleep, it does the job. The location was convenient, and check-in was quick and easy. Not luxurious, but no major complaints. Would consider staying again if I needed something simple."

"The hotel appears to have had a fresh renovation and the staff weren’t just welcoming but very hospitable as if they were welcoming you into their personal home. The hotel was in an ideal location for us with a very reasonable cost. Ideal because it is slightly away from the main road but close enough to the bus line to take you back and forth to city center and to Magdalen College which is also walkable from the hotel (8-10min). Many eatery options nearby. A couple of things to note; 1. There is a pub across the street that sometimes plays loud music but during respectable hours and we enjoyed the local flavor. 2. There is a lift to the 2nd floor only but we had help with our bags up and down the 3rd floor. The lift is a true lift that you must hold the button continuously to rise and lower to the floor you want. Then you open the door to exit. A bit manual sorta like the wheelchair lifts for stages. I most definitely would choose this hotel again and again."
