Located in the Palmar Condo building, right on the southern edge of downtown Cozumel (approximately a 90-to 150-peso taxi ride into town or a 20-minute walk), unit 2D is a 2nd-floor unit with views of the large pool area.Â
The unit is spacious for a 2-bedroom unit, featuring 2.5 bathrooms and expansive living and outdoor areas. Both inside and out, the unit is well-furnished, with modern but comfortable seating and dining areas, and colorful accent walls and decorations throughout.Â
The master bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite bath with both a bathtub and a walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom also features a king bed, but it can be split into two twin beds should the teenagers in the group prefer not to share such close quarters. The kitchen, as you would expect, has every small and large appliance you might need for a short or longer-term stay. Blender, coffee maker, a dispenser for purified water, etc. Everything is in place for your comfort.
Palmar, the building, is secure with gated entry and 24-hour staff. It features a large pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean, which rarely feels crowded, and is conveniently located right across the street from great snorkeling. Thereâs an Oxxo (the ubiquitous Mexican convenience store similar to a 7-Eleven) and restaurants close by, taxis are easy and cheap to get into town, and while you might see cruise ships or hear a little street noise, inside itâs quiet and peaceful with some of the best views on the island.
