「Stayed in Salem right outside of Ranoke for the USA finals National Mnt Biking races for 2025. Location was quiet, clean, modern, nice small cottage set up for family of 4. Good sized front yard area for yard games. Beautiful rose bushes on side of house that had lots of birds and bees visit. Close enough to hiking or biking trails near by via short drive and just far enough away from city to have a quite outside of Ranoke city area.It was too hot for us to use the bonfire but did enjoy the...

「Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay.」

「My wife and i and another couple had a great stay in Lewisburg at this cute cottage. The porch space is the highlight and we enjoyed coffee in the morning and unwinding at night out there. The downstairs bathroom and shower are amazing! The best part was the location. We walked to 4 different awesome restaurants, all within 3 to 4 blocks, as well as all the downtown shops. Elinor was great with communication and made the stay very enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!」

「Cute as a button. Traveled with our 3 adult ish kids and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy this beautiful area of Virginia. Suzanne is a wonderful host who has thought of every detail in the space. The horses in the back pasture are perfect view for starting and ending the day.」

「Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. 」

「We had an amazing time! We loved our stay at this he in Covington, Va.The home is right on the river. Access was easy. Super peaceful. While we had neighbors, it was very private and a very large and secluded large lot. The home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed!We loved the location. 「The Country Cottage was just perfect for us and our dogs. It is ideally located to serve as a launching point to enjoy the endless hiking options and activities in the area and the AT is in the backyard! The hosts are so nice and gracious and the incredibly clean cottage has everything you need and more. The grounds are beautiful and extremely quiet. Between the peacefulness, beauty and super comfortable bed, it was the best sleep we had in a long time. Cannot wait to return! 」
