“The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The horses are an added bonus of peacefulness making this location unique. Hotels can be beautiful and noisy, this place was like a little slice of heaven. Stay there you won’t be disappointed. John was very good at keeping in touch and seeing if we needed anything. I will definitely stay there again if I am going that way.”

“This creekside cottage was pretty much as advertised. It was easy to find, clean and comfortable, and quiet. We had a nice mid-week getaway here and enjoyed local attractions like paddling our kayaks at Carvin's Cove, hiking up to Dragons Tooth, and enjoying an end of hike wine at Beliveau Winery. I would recommend it and would return for another stay, maybe in the fall this time.”

“If you are looking to get away from the hustle an bustle of daily life head to Eagle's Rest. It's a charming cabin tucked into the mountains and woods between Roanoke/ Salem and New Castle. It is fairly remote and super quiet. I went with a few friends for our annual girls trip. The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable and chock-full of amenities. The owners have thought of everything you might need. There is a great deck and fireplace to spend the evenings sipping a glass of wine……

“It was good place to stay for Parent’s weekend at virginia tech. About 30 minutes from the school. Feels slightly longer due to being in rural area but easy drive. Price was reasonable, beds were very comfortable. It gets very dark, I feel there should be more nightlights and my only issue was the scented detergent or spray on the sheets, we are all allergic to smells so it was a making us sniffy. The cat was so friendly and we realized she came out for attention when she heard someone at the……

“We had a wonderful weekend stay for our daughter's wedding. The house has been completely renovated with the top-of-the-line furniture and appliances. Every room is exquisitely furnished. We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. “Honestly couldn’t ask for a better place. Quiet place only about 20 minutes from downtown Covington, and within 40 minutes of several outdoor spots. Everything was super clean, everything in the cottage worked well, and the wifi was fast. Perfect spot for a secluded get away but with amenities and privacy you can’t find at a campground. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

“We had an excellent weekend. Stay at Creekside. The location was very convenient. Just 1 mile off the highway, a five minute drive to the Greenbrier, and a 10 minute drive to old town, Lewisburg. The cabin was immaculate. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower was hot with good water pressure. The temperature was easy to adjust inside the cabin. The hot tub was convenient and warm. “We loved the layout of the property and the bunk house was a really nice surprise and perfect for me and my husband. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The main house had a great layout and plenty of room for our family/friend week. We enjoyed being outside at night around the fire pit and in the creek nearby during the sunny afternoon. As well as cooking in the spacious kitchen and playing games and watching TV in the living room. It is well decorated and cared for and we hope to return……
