“Magical stay at a historic property. LOVED reading books on the verandah, evening wine by the fire pit, meeting people from all over the world, and the excellent breakfast. The staff was kind and very welcoming. Wish we'd stayed longer!”

“We were greeted warmly at reception and upon questioning about restaurants nearby, a few were recommended and we chose one. We were impressed with the room cleanliness. Upon returning for the evening, we sat outside for a while in front of the fire pit, a nice amenity. The breakfast was also superb for its content, and the service person was very attentive. The other staff in the hallways were also cordial. We will return if we're in the area again.”

“Beautiful inn and nice breakfast. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple. The amenities, soaps and shampoos were tiny and not good quality. If those were upgraded, I would have given it a 5 star.”
