“It’s a lovely home. Needed to get batteries for the ceiling fan remote. Grill was unusable. Everything else was great. Had hoped for Mountain Views but the lookouts were not far.”

Loved it. We were all very comfortable. It is exactly as described in the photos. It is cozy, warm, and inviting. Extremely clean and everything was perfect taste. “We traveled to North Carolina for a 50th birthday party. We were in the area to visit one of our favorite local wineries, Jolo. The property was in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous view of the surrounding area and the river. The walk down to the river is a bit of a trek, but once you are there, it is quite peaceful. Working with Shane was easy. He responded to all of our questions and requests. He was close by on the property which was a little unusual. We sort of felt like we moved into his……

“Stunning views, very comfortable, well furnished home. Beds were super comfortable. The view did not disappoint even with cool weather and strong winds. Clara was so helpful with great directions to arrive and super directions for the hikes. This is a beautiful part of the country. We are already planning to return. Had an amazing lunch at Chateau Morrisette which is surprisingly close. I totally recommend this home and the pictures are true to life.”

“We had an amazing time at this cabin!! It was such a beautiful home with an incredible view. We spent a minority of our time out on the back deck which was incredible. The cabin was clean and had plenty of dishes and blankets etc. The owners were available whenever I messaged them and they gave many resources for things to do in the area!!”

“Beautiful serene location giving us the peace and relaxation we needed so much. The host thought of everything that made the stay comfortable. There was cream, juice, drinks in fridge and even stacks in the pantry. It was extremely clean and each room's decorative items were inspiring, comforting and uplifting. I was a little surprised to see the steep steps that lead to the apartment….it probably mentioned it in the description, but I overlooked it. Folks need to be aware that there are steps that lead up to the apartment. We enjoyed walking thru the neighborhood. There is a great park right down the road where we walked our pup. “Nice , cozy cabin on the side of the mountain. Everything worked and the cabin was well equipped. The cabin has a lot of character and was an enjoyable stay. We found using the outdoor steps around the entrance side easier with the luggage than the indoor steps.”
