“ Nice and close to beautiful Lake Superior. Room was comfortable. The baseboards had paint splotches on them from when wall was painted. The tub caulking was dirty yellow . No microwave.”

“I loved staying in this lovely, quiet, small cabin. Just a short walk from North House Folk School where I was taking class, it felt right in line with the folk atmosphere of my class. Rustic, super clean, beautifully handbuilt, relaxing bathtub, comfy bed up in loft, and the view!”

“This was the best stay I've ever had in Grand Marais, and I will be making it my go-to for future solo (with dog) retreats up north. One word sums up the Studio: COZY. I came in winter, and that's what I needed. Lynn did everything to make this spacious studio cozy, even turning up the water heater so that the faucets produced very hot water when it was subzero outside! The overhead track lighting in the Studio made the space warm and inviting throughout. I will stay in the summer too to enjoy……
