「Hostel El Refugio had all the comforts of home including a warm hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable beds with fresh linens in a private room, and private bathrooms. My visit was during fall when temps were colder. The hostel was always warm after a day outdoors. The owner Luis was very kind and accommodating, making sure you have everything for a perfect visit. 」

「Great staff especially Daniella and Vanessa. They made my stay pleasant. Suggesting places to eat and go around. I had a rather complicated stay arrangement as I did W Trekking in between stays but they didn’t mind to help with unique arrangements.
Room is clean. Bathroom works perfectly. The hotel location is right by the shore. It’s very convenient to go to the downtown as well.」
