“It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater.”

“What a contrast to my last hotel (Balmoral Lodge, Southport ). St Michael's was everything I want from a B&B and more. Beautiful vintage furniture, period features, immaculately clean, lovely owner, great atmosphere. Loved it and the presence of a coffee machine, a fridge and a balcony (looking over the garden) made this a great experience. . I was slightly worried about possible noise from the main road, but, even sitting on the balcony, it was surprisingly quiet. My only issue was the very……

“Such a beautiful house, and our room was fantastic. We stayed one night and the breakfast was delicious. No problem parking; the grounds were well kept. Jodi welcomed us, and even helped with dinner reservations. I loved the bathrobe touch, and the room was super cute. The price was a bit high, but we only stayed one night, so no discount for multiple nights . We really liked our short stay, and how close it was to walking to a restaurant.”
