A great place to go for a day trip in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Cape D'Or lighthouse on the Bay of Fundy is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the journey and never crowded. Perfect location to enjoy some peace and quiet while taking in the ocean scenery and tall cliffs along the coastline. To see one of the best sunsets, it's best to stay the night. There is a seasonal restaurant and small inn at the lighthouse keepers buildings.

「A very responsive and excellent host(s) who wanted to ensure we had a super experience. The property is in a super waterfront location and as we are from Ontario and our friends are from Colorado it was nice to see the tides and the relaxing sounds of nature and the waves. 「A wonderful week on the coast of PEI. House was very clean with all new furnishings and the location was perfect. We spent days playing out in the water and exploring the flat sandy beach especially at low tides. Enjoyed the kayak and the paddle board and the big yard. As another reviewer mentioned, there were mosquitoes that limited the ability to sit out in the early evening but they weren’t a problem during the day.
