Special little touches around the place, nooks and crannies and places to explore that left us feeling like we had a lovely little retreat. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great too :)」

「Peaceful, quiet. I like how a guest service team member came to check in with me abiut a half hour after I git settled in, wanting to know if there was anything I needed. And they also built my fire for me in the fire pit, so I would have no trouble getting it going. It's those little niceties that make me feel very much at home. And allows me to truly relax. I love it there! 」

「We loved our stay, and only wished we could have stayed longer! What a beautiful and peaceful location right on Scot’s Bay. The cottage was immaculately clean. What a perfect set up the cottage is for a family or even two separate families or several couples. The cottage is so tastefully and creatively decorated and well equipped with everything you need. We fell in love with the place and hope to go back!」

「We had a great stay. The house had all we needed and Daniel responded quickly and answered all our questions. At one point the dryer stopped working and in a few hours, Daniel brought us a working dryer. We love the area and the local people are so friendly and helpful. Beaches are beautiful and just an overall great experience. The sauna was a great bonus and we used it almost every day. We highly recommend Daniel's house. 」

「The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. 」
