“Loved this atmospheric old house. Everything was spotless with comfy beds and plenty of books and DVDs. Great to be able to walk to the village for food and exploration. Hotel pool (20 mins away) was okay. Note that it's mostly very deep (apart from a paddling pool) so not so suitable if you have under 8s that aren't confident swimmers.”

“Clean, tidy & peaceful. Hot tub was great too! Also loved the “no pets” as we have stayed in pet friendly places before & no matter how much somewhere is cleaned you can ALWAYS tell if dogs have been staying. Location wise, it’s easy to get to different places with a car. Loved the peace and quiet. Real home away from home Would def stay again thank you! ”

“We had a really nice time in Windermere, and The Garden Flat was perfect for our needs. Only complaint is it was a bit difficult to locate, as it's down a flight of stairs. Overall, we had a lovely time.”

“AVOID This flat is in a building which is in the process of being renovated. The building is empty, has insecure front doors; there is debris scattered all over the back of the property; there is no lighting around the entrance or car park. Unsafe. Difficult to find due to building not being labelled, due to being renovated. Property Host was not there to meet us and was going to be over an hour late. UTTERLY MISLEADING ADVERT”
