“Perfect quiet location not too far from shops and bars. A short journey to Bowness-On-Windermere about 5 minutes by car but very much walkable. The space in the accommodation was huge absolute perfection”

“This property has everything you will need for your holiday. The area is so beautiful and the access to a shared pool is an added bonus. The hosts are helpful and responsive. The rooms are small and the bed is very comfortable. The duvet was perfect and warm. I agree with other reviews that the apartment is outdated and the shower could be improved (water pressure) but those items do impact the enjoyment of the space and the area. We visited from Ontario, Canada, so accessing the property……

“Loved this atmospheric old house. Everything was spotless with comfy beds and plenty of books and DVDs. Great to be able to walk to the village for food and exploration. Hotel pool (20 mins away) was okay. Note that it's mostly very deep (apart from a paddling pool) so not so suitable if you have under 8s that aren't confident swimmers.”

“I cant fault location it was brilliant communication with host was great. Garden was perfect for our dog. The problem was i am asthmatic and there was a lot of dust which triggers my asthma. I was quite poorly and am recovering slowly. The apartment was very spacious bit tired in places. Could do with a freshen up location was fabulous and plenty of teas coffees etc and a boot mat for muddy.boots very thoughful. Great they have a laundry room and recycling on site ”
