They were totally booked for the 29 and there was nothing that could be done she put me in contact with a motel in Port Douglas at $45 above what the booking . I was told to cancel the booking, and I would get my money back from the agent. I will start by getting in contact with the agent.」

「We reserved a Spa Suite for $425 USD - upon arrival, the assigned room was tucked in the back corner of the property and was very, very tiny with a large tub on the outside deck - certainly not a room that should be advertised as a "suite". Even worse, the only view from the room/deck was looking at the backside of another building and the air conditioning units for each room. We asked to be moved to another room, but unfortunately, the property was completely booked so they could not move us....

「It was in a good spot for easy access to the shops and also to the beach, though it took a bit of walking. It was very comfortable and had a washing machine and dryer just outside our door, which was handy. Small things were that one of the chair seats was a bit loose and the blind at the window became stuck. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.」

「This was a beautiful little hotel. It was walkable to lots of restaurants and shops. I was looking forward to doing some laundry while here on my one night stay but the young man from the front desk had 1 of the 2 washing machines and the only dryer tied up most of the day so I was not able to get any laundry done. Even when I told him I had a short time to stay, he did not offer to let me go ahead of him and use the dryer, which takes over an hour to dry clothes. I could have stayed at the...
